Practice Clay animation

My clay animation consists of Morph playing football, yet again its simple and easy to do as it is a practice before we complete our final product.
Firstly I made my Morph by manipulating the clay enough so its easy to shape and structure, i decided making him out of one ball of plasticine would make it easier so no ligaments fell off throughout the production. I used iStopMotion for capturing the movements and Final Cut Express for adding the sound. Im happy with my final outcome.
To make my product flow easy and make it look almost real i had to move my character with the tiniest movements.
The idea came from the original 'Morph' which was produced for the BBC  by Aardman Animations which is very famous for 'Wallace and Grommit' Morph also starred in 'SmartArt'.

Cut out animation

Today we were given the task of coming up with an idea for a cut-out animation and producing it with iStopMotion. Firstly we had to draw up our ideas then colour and cut it out, we had came up with an alien flying in in his spaceship and getting out of it. Its a simple and easy idea for a practice. We had to make sure we had separate limbs so it was easier to produce, we had to think of what it was going to look like so we chose to have a moon based background and make it colorful.
To make it flow more easier and make it look like the spaceship was flying in i made a total of 8 spaceships all the same style and each one was smaller than the other.

Through out making and producing this animation i found it slightly annoying and fidgety so i wouldn't choose this technique for my final product.
